This website was designed to be the platform bringing the latest updates, announcements, events and activities of the academy to our dear members and friends in the country and from other parts of the world. It is part of the academy’s commitment to enhance communication among members, establish and maintain linkages and networking with other specialists involved and with a special interest in the field of pediatric pulmonology. The site is still in its evolution stage as it was just re-opened January of 2018, so please bear with us.
The Virtual Library is intended to house local and foreign journals, researches done by our members, clinical practice guidelines, policy statements and case reports. Active participation in the academy’s interhospital case conferences is now possible for members through the Webex, which was organized in cooperation with our pharma friends.
The format for the Registry of Diseases has been finalized to facilitate the generation of statistics on the different respiratory conditions in children among the 7 training institutions of the academy.
Future plans include: updating the members’ directory and uploading the various activities and programs of the different task forces and standing committees. This is to encourage their regional members to play a more active part in these endeavors.
We trust that this website will be a venue for interaction among our colleagues in different parts of the country and the world, to stimulate an exchange of thoughts and insights in pediatric pulmonology.
Thank you for your dedication and support to PAPP!
